GSB Pro requires .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later:

1. Download .NET Framework from Microsoft's official website
2. Install and restart your computer
3. Run GSB Pro installer again

This is a false positive due to genetic algorithm processing:

• Add GSB Pro to your antivirus exclusion/whitelist
• Allow through Windows Firewall (required for Manager/Worker communication)
• Temporarily disable antivirus during installation if needed
• Re-enable antivirus after adding exclusions

Several factors can impact performance:

• Reduce population size: Try 50-100 instead of 200+
• Decrease generations: Start with 100-200 generations
• Limit data size: Use 2-3 years instead of 10+ years
• Close other applications: Free up RAM and CPU resources
• Use GSB Manager/Workers: Distribute processing across cores
• Upgrade hardware: More RAM and faster CPU help significantly

• Check if progress is still increasing (it may be slow but working)
• Reduce complexity settings (fewer rules per strategy)
• Decrease population size and generations
• Ensure sufficient disk space for temporary files
• Restart GSB Pro and try with smaller dataset first

Data file issues are common:

• Verify file path is correct and file exists
• Check file format matches GSB Pro requirements (CSV format)
• Ensure date format is correct (YYYYMMDD or MM/DD/YYYY)
• Remove any header rows or extra columns
• Check for gaps or invalid data (missing prices, zeros)
• Re-export data from your trading platform if issues persist

GSB Pro needs enough data for meaningful results:

• Minimum daily data: 2-3 years recommended
• Minimum intraday data: 6-12 months recommended
• Trade count: Aim for 100+ potential trades in dataset
• Obtain more historical data from your broker or data vendor

This might indicate inappropriate settings or difficult market conditions:

• Increase population size (try 100-200)
• Run more generations (300-500+)
• Enable more indicators in the indicator pool
• Adjust fitness criteria (try different optimization targets)
• Check if commission/slippage settings are too aggressive
• Try different symbols or time periods
• Consider that the market may be difficult to systematize

Over-fitting is a common challenge:

• Reduce maximum strategy complexity
• Use shorter in-sample periods
• Require minimum number of trades (30-50+)
• Change fitness function to emphasize consistency over pure profit
• Run walk-forward optimization for validation
• Test on multiple related symbols

Platform-specific compilation issues:

• TradeStation/MultiCharts: Ensure GSB function library was imported first
• NinjaTrader: Import GSB_Indicators add-on before importing strategy
• Verify you exported for the correct platform
• Check for typos when pasting code
• Review compilation error messages for specific issues
• Restart the trading platform after importing libraries

Small differences are normal, but large variances indicate issues:

• Verify bar interval matches exactly
• Check session times (24-hour vs regular trading hours)
• Compare commission and slippage settings
• Ensure data sources are identical
• Review input parameters for accuracy
• Check "Calculate" mode in NinjaTrader (use "On bar close")

• Verify you're entering the key exactly as provided (copy-paste recommended)
• Check for extra spaces before or after the key
• Ensure you're using the correct license key (trial vs full)
• Verify your internet connection (activation requires online verification)
• Contact support if key still won't activate

After the 14-day trial:

• Purchase a lifetime license ($1,500 USD) to continue using GSB Pro
