    Installation Steps

    Step 1: Run the Installer

    1. Locate the downloaded GSBPro_Setup.exe file
    2. Right-click and select "Run as Administrator"
    3. Click "Yes" if Windows User Account Control prompts you

    Step 2: Follow the Setup Wizard

    1. Accept the End User License Agreement (EULA)
    2. Choose installation directory (default recommended: C:\Program Files\GSB Pro)
    3. Select components to install (Full Installation recommended for new users)
    4. Click "Install" to begin the installation process

    Step 3: Complete Installation

    1. Wait for files to be copied and configured
    2. Click "Finish" when installation completes
    3. Launch GSB Pro from the desktop shortcut or Start menu

    First Launch

    When you first launch GSB Pro, you'll be prompted to:

    • Enter your license key (or activate your trial period)
    • Configure basic settings (data paths, number of workers if using GSB Manager)
    • Set advanced mode (enables all features - recommended)

    Troubleshooting Installation Issues

    .NET Framework Required

    GSB Pro requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later. If installation fails:

    1. Download .NET Framework from Microsoft's official website
    2. Install .NET Framework and restart your computer
    3. Run the GSB Pro installer again

    Antivirus or Firewall Blocking

    Some antivirus software may flag GSB Pro. This is a false positive due to the genetic algorithm processing. To resolve:

    • Add GSB Pro to your antivirus exclusion list
    • Allow GSB Pro through Windows Firewall (required for Manager/Worker communication)
